Privacy policy
Mediator is a Telegram bot, @mediator_help_bot. Here is the short version, with no legal fog: what we receive, what for, and what happens to it.
What data we receive
- Your Telegram ID and the name on your profile. Telegram passes them to us when you open the bot.
- The messages you write to the bot, voice messages included, if you use them.
- The relationship type you choose at the start, and your answers to the bot's questions.
- The fact that a subscription was paid for. We do not see your card details, Telegram handles the payment.
We do not ask for your phone number, your email or any other contact details.
Why we need it
Only to run your session: to reply, to prepare your analysis and the shared summary. The text of your messages is processed by a language model from an outside provider (OpenAI). Under the terms of its API, the data is not used to train models.
Who sees your messages
Only the bot. Your partner does not see your messages and does not get them retold. What reaches their analysis is a gentle, generalized interpretation with no quotes. We do not sell your data and do not pass it to third parties, apart from Telegram and the language model provider, without whom the bot does not work.
How long the data is kept
A session is deleted automatically 7 days after it ends, and the bot warns you before that happens. You can delete everything sooner with the "Delete my data" button in the bot's menu: one tap, and the records are erased. The analysis can be saved as a PDF only if you ask for that yourself.
Site statistics
The askmediator.com website has a Yandex Metrica counter on it. It collects anonymized visit statistics: which pages people open, from which device and from which region. Names, your chat with the bot and any personal data never go there.
Security
Access to the database is restricted, and no people read your messages. At the same time, no service on the internet can guarantee absolute protection, and we would rather say so honestly.
Questions
Write to the bot, @mediator_help_bot, and we will answer in the chat. If this policy changes, a new date will appear here.
